If you are like me who works in the office then this is post for you.
I work for an airline Ryanair in the Head Office and we do not need to wear uniform and therefore is important to dress well.
Here are few tips, which can help either build or renewal your wardrobe.
1) Pop of Color
Most people like to wear a nude color for office. If you add a pop of color to your outfit it can change the outfit completely and make it more interesting.
If you do not want to wear it in clothes as you are not too confident, just add it in the accessories first.
2) Statement Blouses
Yes it's true that well fitting white shirt it's a stapler in every wardrobe. But if you wear it all the time it becomes like an uniform.
Add statement blouse, which you can easily wear even with pair of jeans and look chic.
3) Classic Knits
A nice cosy jumper is a must have for winter and if you add a knitwear, fine cashmere sweater or a nice cardigan with the basic it will make it different to your outfit.
4) Chic Skirt
I personally love skirt. Either is a pencil skirt (my favorite) or a luxe leather skirt.
For office I would suggest keep the knee length - it's classy anything shorter is inappropriate for office and make it look very cheap.
Tip: Swap the tight for a pear of socks and heels to give a nice fashion edge.
5) Stylish Suiting
A suit in the (.....) boardroom power tool, now-days we have so many varieties it does not need to be just the plain suit. Also remember you can wear them separately.
Tip: Wide leg trousers are so in. Keep in mind when you choosing the next one.
6) Good Pair of Heels
High heels always were very elegant, but if you are not heel girl swap them for a kitten heel or chunky heel or flat. We have a many options to choose from
To polish any look a handbag is a must have. Size depends on if you cary your paperwork or laptop home, but keep it organized without clutter is the key.
It doesn't matter how classy you are dress if you don't have a nice coat, your look will not show. Remember you can make your coat as a statement as this is the first thing what people see.
Remember these are just guidelines to help you to build or renew your wardrobe for work.
Let me know if you would like maybe a post about work outfits.
Leave a comment below if this was helpful and what would you like me to write post about.
Wishing you all a great day
I have come across with this article and want to share it with you. As a blogger I like to know what is coming, what are the new trends. Can you believe that Summer is nearly finish and we are getting ready for Fall. This year we did not had very nice summer here in Ireland the weather was very bad and rained most of the days. Let's get started with the fashion trends and hopefully we can pick some tips. Get ready for this season full of puffy coats, touch of purple and this is kind of my favorite military style outwear. Regarding accessories it will be stacked heels, pearls and many more.
Which was first very popular on men. I am excited about this as I actually love these jackets. I used to have one decade ago and I loved it so much. I didn't have another one since so I think it's a time to buy one and the plus they are back in fashion is great news.
Are back, I think this will be a little bit challenge for me. What I mean as becoming more "Minimalist" 1980's is exactly opposite. Lots of colors, size and experimentation. Blue mascaras, big hair, yellow eye-shadow. I will have to do little bit more research about the 1980's fashion trends and then apply it to my style and make it works.
I love this material, it can be made from several different fabrics and the most traditional and most expensive is silk. Velvet is very soft and even when you looking back in the history of velvet it's associated with nobility.
4) Layered Eveningwear
It was Marc Jacobs and the 90's idea of playing down your most precious dress.
You either hate this or love it. But I believe you can layered dress to make it work for your style.
5) Stacked Heels
These are also known as "built heels or chunky heels". These are great mainly for people who find hard to walk in heels. I think I will get few like this season, as I have to implement more flats to my style, and this Stacked Heels is great.
I love Capes, I bought one last year "Burberry Style" and I love it. It gives a uniqueness to an outfit. Capes has also become very popular in the catwalk. We have two ways of Capes, the shorter garmets are called Capes, and the "Cloak" are the full length version.
7) Quilted Coats
It's nice to stay warm and I believe all the winter countries appreciate these "quilted coats, or you can refer them as puffer coats". If you actually try to shop now you will get a good deals. I would also recommend combine the two trends. E.g. I will get later into a fashion trend of Military Style, so why not looking for nice Quilted Coats in Military style and here you go have two trends in one.
Pearls are coming back into a fashion in a big way, replacing diamonds. In my opinion they never really came out of fashion. They are coming in all kinds of colors, sizes. I am excited about implementing them into my wardrobe. I also believe we could do lots of DIY with this magic accessory.
Now this is one of mine favorite, I love Leopard Print and did you knew that Leopard Print was first spotted after World War I, the print became popular around the time of Dior's New Look.
Back in the history of fashion, it was very difficult nearly impossible to create a purple dye and when it was finally created only the emperor was allowed to wear purple garments. Queen Elizabeth I Strasdin says: "forbade anybody but the closest members of the royal family to wear purple". In the mid-19th century, the dye became more available and became more as a trend, but as they say now you can pick up any purple T-shirt in H&M or Primark so it's no longer consider as exclusive. I would also like to mentioned that our Icon Prince he will be remembered forever for his music but also one of his favorite color was purple, this was like his signature color for his outfits.
I love military style jackets, Did you knew that the M-65 Field Jacket was issued to soldiers in Vietnam beginning in 1965 and the Bomber Jacket (which is so in right now and is here to stay) was worn by everyone and began its life as part of the World War I fighter pilot's uniform. Alexander McQueen designed his own tartan for his fall 1995 show called "Highland Rape", the fabric expressed both ethnic pride and anger at what he considered the "rape" of his family's homeland by the English.
Tartan is a pattern consisting of criss-crossed horizontal and vertical bands in multiple colors. It is particularly associated with Scotland. In North America Tartan is often called "Plaid". Tartans originated in woven wool, but now they are made in many other materials.
13) Padded Shoulders
The first shoulder pads were mostly triangular in shape in the 1930. In the '80s those strong-shouldered silhouettes returned, but the look spilled over and everyone from Madonna and Princess Diana could be seen in Crawford-esque blazers and jackets.
In the 1500's corset were very popular and was tightly laced. Corset were made with metal, the corsets were popped up now and then, now not to mentioned we have waist trainers which are very popular by the Kardashians and Amber Rose.
Vinyl is known as PVC clothes. and did you knew that PVC was invented by accident in 1926 but it wasn't on the runway until 1963 when Mary Quant used it for her wet collection.
The PVC clothes are very much associated with Goth, Punk fashion. A common stereotype is the image of wearing skin-tight PVC catsuit.
16) Micro Bags
I am very excited with this. I personally love very large handbag and is only now recently I got into the small handbags. Therefore I am very excited to experiment with this fashion trend. Did you knew that the original point of this it was only to carry a coins. These cute bags are the hottest trend in this season a what I call it "must have". I have order one and can't wait to receive it. They are really help you to carry only the essentials. I think these cute bags are not only relieve to your shoulder and back but they are great fashion statement in simple outfit. If you haven't got one do so, they are starting from very affordable prices.
Second name for Sequins is "A sparkling history", sequins are disk-shaped beads used for decorative purposes. Sequins are commonly used in clothes, bags, shoes, jewelry and many other accessories. Now-days sequins are no longer only for the style ball-gowns, now sequins are turning up in unexpected items. like trousers, pencil skirts, you name it. I personally I am not as much fun of sequins but I think will be nice to have at least one item in the collection. However many celebrities makes sequins as every day essentials like Jennifer Lopez
I don't know about you but if you are like me and you like fashion is good to do research or to know what is coming and how can you implement the trends into your style.
Hope you liked this article and do let me know what fashion trend is your favorite and you are most excited about and as well what is the one which will be challenge for you.
For me I am very excited about the Micro Bags, Military and the most challenging will be Vinyl and Padded Shoulders. Now we have only one thing to do, we know what is coming so the only thing which is remaining is to do shopping. Happy shopping to everyone.

Hi my lovely people.
I want to share with you my article which I did for "Ondine Magazine". It was such a pleasure to be part of it. If you wonder who "Ondine" are, it's an Irish Fashion Online Magazine. check them out: and here is the post on their link: (read here)
and here is the copy of it:
Hi, do you want to be stylish and feel good, do you want to make changes of how you shop? If “yes” then keep reading.
I would love to talk today about “Capsule Wardrobe”.
For people who are wondering what is capsule wardrobe, some definitions of Capsule Wardrobe are as a collection of clothes and accessories that includes only items which are considered as essential and can be used for basic outfits or for all occasions.
I agree with this of course, but I always say make it suitable to your style and to your needs and then you will have use of it. In my words definition of Capsule Wardrobe is: “I call it, mini wardrobe made up of really versatile pieces that you LOVE completely to wear.”
As my last article which is about “Minimalist Style” (read here) is important that I do this article as they are kind of working together. Is important to learn what the Capsule Wardrobe is if you want to be a minimalist or at least want to try.
OK so back to why people started to do Capsule Wardrobe? Is essentially trying to spend less time deciding what to wear, less time shopping. Did you ever had a moment when you went for “binge shopping” and got home with bags full of clothes, but they actually never contributed nothing to your style? While I did, and that’s when I realized I have a problem and is important to do something with it. Of course is not the worst thing in the world, but after realizing there is time to change of how I shop and what I shop, and I must say I am more happier now of what I want and I kind of find a way of who I am.
It’s not easy to change our habits, and stop spending money on emotional purchases, but is possible and is never too late.
Little bit of how Capsule Wardrobe started, it’s all happened in the 70’s by London boutique owner Susie Faux. I have also read about the Project 333, and having now much clear idea of what it is I know how to start working towards my new change.
I will be doing reviews of how I am finding this style change, what impact it had and what challenges will I face so please follow me.
Hope you have enjoyed this article and hopefully it was helpful.

I believe that what you wear tells a lot about your personality. Fashion are clothes, but style is what you do with it.
