We all know being healthy is not only about eating healthy or doing exercise but also having happy mind and soul.
We are leaving in a century where we are surrounded by lots of stress either it is a job, family, kids. People now days stress more and stress for every little things like missing a bus, or bus arriving late, waiting in a long queue. It is important to be able to stress less and I know is easy to say than do but at least let’s try.
I would like to share with you my tips which I have started to implement; they do help me so hopefully they can help you too.
Meditate or do yoga
It is important to take focus from your thoughts and bring your attention to your breath. Choosing meditation or yoga can be very relaxing and helping you to stay present. Why not use the opportunity and sign for the yoga classes
Surround yourself with positive people
When you want to be positive is important to have positive people in your life. Talk to people who can put things into perspective and won’t feed you with negative thinking.
Change the tone of your thoughts from negative to positive
What I mean by that example, instead of thinking “We are going to have a hard time at work this week”, try to think, “We will have some challenges at work this week but we will come up with the solutions”.
Take a focus from you and do something for someone. It will make you feel better.
Remember that no one is perfect so let yourself to move forward
It’s easy to dwell on your mistake. Remember everyone does mistake what you need to do is to learn from it and move forward.
List five things that you are grateful for right now
Being grateful helps appreciate what you already have. Spend less time moaning of things you don’t have but appreciate what you already have.
Read positive quotes
I like to have positive quotes around the house; it works for me as a reminder to stay positive.
I would like to share with you few of mine:
“Watch your thoughts, they become words. Watch your words, they become actions. Watch your actions, they become habits. Watch your habits, they become your character. Watch your character, it becomes your destiny”.
“Destiny is no matter of chance. It is a matter of choice”. (William Jennings Bryan)

"Be a first rate version of yourself, not a second rate version of someone else"
- Judy Garland
Is important to listen to the inner you and make a shift - be willing to let go of what no longer serves you. Situations, relationships, jobs. If something no longer feels good don't be afraid to get rid of it.
It took me a long time to do this steps, but once I have done it I became the most happiest person I have ever been.
Do you have a dream about a new feature but don't know where to begin? A journal is the perfect place to manifest change, I believe is an excellent place for you to start.
Through using journal you will see yourself grow into a new stronger you over time.
I have started a journal, but first I had to establish what do I want, what are my goals.
I have read a lot about positive thinking, wellbeing and there is lots of evidence that writing down your feelings produces positive vibes and positive effect on your overall health.
Remember nothing changes unless you do, so remember you need to stick to the practice of journaling and make it your intention to write every day.
Making a commitment to complete the tasks and enjoy the process of growing will result in a new you. I feel satisfied when I write, it makes me feel good and happy. I visualize of what I want and that gives me such a great feeling. I also find out that I can be creative and let my imagination to work.
I have few journals, one for my long term goals, one for my every day thoughts and I carry that every day with me in my bag and I also have what I call it "happiness journal" which is my gratitude journal and you will hear me to saying this a lot - without being grateful you will find very hard to progress.
If you are not sure what to write, you can write your goals. You can write maybe what would you like to have or to be or where to travel.
If you are asking when should you start or use the journal, the answer is simple, you can start at any time. When I would suggest in order to make writing about your journey a habit, it helps to write at a specific time each day. Everyone has different time on demands on their time but is important to allocate a specific time. I like to write my journal first thing in the morning as soon as I wake up. This will help me to set up my day in a good mood and my mindset is aligned with my wellness intentions. But remember to choose a time that works for you, could be evening, or during your coffee break.
When you will have no time to write, please take at least few moments to review your goals and wellness journey.
It's important to take a moment out of your busy day to centre yourself, this will bring you closer to your sacred place of wellness.
Let me know if you do write already a journal, or if I have inspired you let me know if it helped you.
